~ John Dewey

Our simple educational philosphy: we learn as we live and we celebrate what we learn!

Philosophy

We have had the free time to watch some DVD replays of the television show Joan of Arcadia over the Holidays and they have prompted some philosophical discussions. Here are some questions we have pondered together: Why do people run from their fears? What can they do instead? What makes art? Who decides? Why don't people realize that every choice they make in life, makes a difference? What is friendship? How is life comparable to juggling? What is dishonesty? Are there limits on what you can do? Who is responsible for your life? Should you ever blame others for outcomes in your life? Can something pretty grow from something ugly? How do you see people in your life? Who says television isn't a learning tool?
