About Trancas Geodes

We learned that these geodes were first found in 1973 in Mexico. They are made of non-crystallin quartz, milky and blue quartz and white and blue calcite. About 30% of Tracas geodes have curly projections called worms. You can see them in the pictures here. They also flouresce under short wave UV light.
