Ink Making

So, this past week we decided to try to make our own ink like they would have done in early America. We bought blueberries and raspberries, downloaded a recipe and instructions from the internet, and went to work. Well, it took forever to smush the berrries. Then we got out a quill pen and tried to use it to write. Pictures of our adventure are included here. Needless to say, we all decided that making your own ink and using it was not easy. It was interesting though.
