~ John Dewey

Late July

We started! We are taking Italian lessons. So far, we have learned:the colors,(verde, blu, viola, rossa, giallo, arancion, bianco, marrone, and nero)and the difference between feminine and masculine words. Italian is so much like Spanish, and it is similar to French as well.Italian is pretty easy to pronounce if you can roll your R's.

We also wrote a paper comparing and contrasting France and America. Some of our thoughts were: The French people tend to have different types of entertainment, body porportions, architecture, transportation, work hours, and schooling. There are some similarities between the French and Americans as well, but those aren't as interesting. Some American things we saw in France were: baseball hats, fat people,Claires,Starbucks, KFC, McDonalds, and Abercrombie shirts.
